Gloria

Gloria is a nice red round tomato with a pointy tip – really almost heart shaped. It is nice and meaty with a really yummy sweet flavor. Fruit range from 4-10 oz but can get larger. I might be the only source in the U.S. for this one.

Story:

From Tatiana’s TOMATObase:

  • Seeds were collected and brought from Almaty, Kazakhstan by Nadezhda Leona. Her daughter, Nonna Glebova, has been growing this variety in Tri-City area, BC, Canada and she shared a few plants with Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in spring 2013.
  • Nonna said that she was not sure that 'Gloria' is the correct name for this variety, but this is how her mother called it.
  • Introduced commercially by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2014.
